KIRK, Donald Herbert. ‘DON’

Of Matlock. On 20th June 2026 at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret, much loved dad of Rob, Donna, and Gavin and a dear grandad who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Don’s Funeral Service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium, Main Chapel, on Thursday 30th July at 1.30pm. Margaret BATES, sadly passed away on 7th July 2026, aged 83 years. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Garrick Leslie SPIERS, sadly passed away on 30th June 2026, aged 46 years. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. JENNINGS, Jackie

On 17th June 2026 at her home in Matlock, aged 89 years. Loving wife of the late Alan, much loved mum of Mark and Clare and mother-in-law of Marjan and Alistair. Of Matlock, formerly Wirksworth. On 15th June 2026 at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 99 years. Beloved Wife of the late Reginald, and a much-loved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who will be sadly missed by all her family. Funeral Service to be held at Darley Dale Methodist Church on Wednesday 8th July at 11.00am prior to interment in Darley Dale Cemetery. ROPER, Stephen Trevor. ‘Steve’.

Of Matlock. Steve sadly passed away on 1st June 2026 at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 64 years. Loving son of Pauline, dad of Kim, Kerry, Jamie and Kayleigh, partner of Annette and grandad of Liam, Jack, Charlotte, Lilly, Riley, Josh, Esmae, Winter and Skyla. He will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends.
